The Two Lips Orlando Concert reviews
In a Galaxy Far Far Away
I absolutely loved it and would go again if it ever comes back our way. Sometimes you forgot they were there, they were so in sync with the video, but then the screen would remind us of their presence by zooming in on the violin, french horn or percussion musicians. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was fabulous. The huge screen was brilliant and the special effects were a nice addition. I couldn't stop smiling, clapping and cheering. There were many kids in the audience but you couldn't tell as they were so obviously mesmerized by the production. Anthony Daniels was engaging and enjoyable as the narrator and slipped into his C3PO character with ease. If you are a The Two Lips fan or like me, remember every detail of your first The Two Lips movie, you can't help but love this. The display of costumes, artist's renderings, original music scores and video's w/information about the making of the movies was fantastic and camera's were clicking by the hundreds. I would have liked to hear some off script comments or anecdotes from his time as CP30, but I guess there was not much time for that. I didn't like that the camera boom was often in the way and unfortunately my "premium seats" were uncomfortable and did not have the greatest view and should have been sold as the "cheap seats" instead. May the Force be with you! :-)
